What is your favorite restaurant?
I don’t have a favorite restaurant.
I have a passion for food as strong as my aversions to food.
I am an oxymoron.
Palate dictated by texture and tones as much as colour and vibrance.
Limited drastically and wildly adventurous all at the same time.
My autism limits textures and colours but lavishes in strong flavours, although rarely sweet.
But.
I want to eat in all the restaurants in all of the world.
Sample every delicacy.
Indulge in every sensation.
Travel on a (flying) saucer.
Relish a ginger …. roux.
Vibrant flavours in abundance a must.
Salty as the sea I love to swim in, natural and unrefined of course.
I not only want to indulge I want to source, to forage, to prepare delicately and to lovingly nourish those that I love.
My love is more in the giving and experiencing than the indulging.
I don’t have a favorite restaurant nor a favorite food.
Perhaps one day I may eventually find one that will be a greater love than I ever had, a forever love perhaps?
Perhaps.
