Sorry.

If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be?

Sorry.

When I have no place to be sorry.
When I am simply filling an awkward silence.
When I feel it is polite for polites sake.
When it is someone else’s fault.
When I use it to desperately gain acceptance.
When I don’t mean it.

I am only sorry to myself for allowing myself to submit.

  1. You are so right, I do this all of the time and in fact whilst I’m apologising for something that someone else should have taken ownership for, I’m making myself look like the ‘culprit’ for want of a better word, constantly being wrong (otherwise why would i need to apologise), an idiot, demoralising myself. Giving the other person superiority over me, when they haven’t stepped up. It needs to stop!

What a terrible habit, to treat ourselves this way!

    Thank you❤️xx

    1. Exactly, why do we do this to ourselves, simply to make an uncomfortable situation less uncomfortable. But doing so is fruitless and harmful to ourselves x
